Weekend in Games: Halo 3, Secret of Mana, Disgaea, Super Smash Bros. Brawl

First of all, I want to apologize to all of my readers for the extreme lateness of my next few posts. This has been due to my starting a new semester at school, and wanting to get really acclimated to the new classes I am now taking. This lateness will be an anomaly, I assure you, so do not give up hope for my blog!

The main character of Disgaea, Laharl the Overlord

Last weekend, I went over to a friend’s house and played tons of games therein. I spent quite a bit of time dying and (slightly less time) killing things in that interesting game. Still have something of a tough time aiming in Halo for some reason. Maybe it’s my mouse and keyboard preference for games of that type. Additionally, I defeated Thanatos’ minion in Secret of Mana, but did not get any new party members or rescue the two people he had kidnapped. In Disgaea, I have now racked up 70 hours of playtime, and no, I am not quite done with it yet. I have been joined by Captain Gordon, Defender of Earth, and his two companions. They have been of quite some help in the epic battles I have been engaged in. During the game day on Saturday, I also played quite a bit of Smash Bros. Brawl. I only failed to place first in a single match. I am proud of this, but not excessively proud, it being my nature to be at least a little humble. That was about it, and I look forward to rejoining the world of Animal Crossing and continuing on in Disgaea and Secret of Mana this weekend. You’ll hear about it!
